Backcountry Camping Fees
Permits allow for overnight stays in Algonquin's backcountry via canoe routes or backpacking trails.
Maximum of 9 people per backcountry campsite. If you are bringing more than 1 vehicle per campsite an "Additional Vehicle Permit" may be purchased at additional cost (see below).
Age 6 - 17 inclusive | $5.65*/person/night |
Age 18 - 64 | $12.43*/person/night |
Age 65+ | $9.94*/person/night |
Additional Vehicle Permit | $14.13 per vehicle/night |
Prices include applicable taxes (13% HST).
* Ontario Parks discounts camping and day use fees for Ontario residents with a disability who have a CNIB identity card or an MTO disabled person's parking permit. Rates for Ontario persons with disabilities by 50%.
Fees are subject to change by Ontario Parks.
