Programs

Algonquin Park offers a variety of programs in which visitors can participate in throughout the year. These include:

  • Group Education Program
    Educational programs for school, youth, and adult groups directly linked to the Park’s natural and cultural history themes.
  • Experience Algonquin Workshops
    Workshops led by expert instructors for individuals or small groups on a variety of natural and cultural history topics.
  • Summer Interpretive Program
    One of the best ways to get to know Algonquin Provincial Park is through the Park’s well-known interpretive program. The interpretive program runs daily during July and August and on some fall weekends.
  • Junior Ranger Program
    Free activity booklets allowing youth aged 12 and under to discover more about Algonquin Park's history, wildlife and recreation.
