Hire a naturalist for an educational program that allows you and your family, friends, or group to discover Algonquin Park's amazing natural and cultural history with the privacy of your own professional guide.
Half-day and full-day programs are delivered by naturalists and are suitable for all ages, whether it is…
- going on a Wolf Howl to learn about the wolves of Algonquin and go out to a location where wild wolves may respond to imitations of their howls (offered only September to July);
- paddling Algonquin Park's nearly endless canoe routes with a professional naturalist who can teach proper techniques and share knowledge of wildlife see along your route in the Algonquin By Canoe program;
- exploring Algonquin after dark to learn about owls, bats and other nocturnal creatures on a Night Walk or observing the planets and constellations in Algonquin's incredibly dark skies during a Night Sky Tour astronomy program;
- drawing inspiration from Algonquin's beautiful landscapes in a Look, See, Paint program, where you learn about artists who painted in the Park while making your own watercolour creation; or
- choosing from the many other options listed in our brochures or creating your own custom program!
