Whitefish Lake Group Campground Map
Facilities for organized group camping in Algonquin Park are available at Whitefish Lake Group Campground, located off the Pog Lake Campground road (at Km 36.9 along the Highway 60 Corridor).
Group
camping in Algonquin is available only from the last Friday in April through to Thanksgiving.
The group campground has
an excellent (unsupervised and not patrolled) beach, and offers
18 sites which can support groups ranging in size from 10 to 40
people. Organized groups which are larger than this may use the
campground, but must split up into smaller groups, utilizing
more than one site.
Although
Whitefish Lake Group Campground was developed primarily to accommodate
organized youth and special groups, other groups may use this area.
Adult groups such as family reunions, clubs, etc. may book a site
but youth and special groups have priority.
Use
of Whitefish Lake Group Campground is strictly by reservation, which
may be made up to five months prior to arrival date, and should
be made well in advance particularly during high use periods.
Reservations
may be made only through the Algonquin Park Information Office at
(705) 633-5572 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. [daily from April 1 to
late October] and [Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only from early

From Thanksgiving through to late April, Whitefish Lake Group Campground closes. Camping is available only at the Mew Lake Campground
